What Are Expected Points?

Expected points (xPoints) estimate how many FPL points a player is likely to score based on upcoming fixtures, form, and minutes played. It's a bit like xG for goals, but for the full FPL scoring system. Captains with high expected points tend to deliver more often than gut picks.

Fine Line calculates these for you each gameweek. You get a ranked list of the best captain options and transfer targets, updated as lineups and injuries come in.

Planning Your Team
