What Are Expected Points?

Expected points (xPoints) estimate how many FPL points a player is likely to score based on upcoming fixtures, form, and minutes played. It's a bit like xG for goals, but for the full FPL scoring system. Captains with high expected points tend to deliver more often than gut picks.

Fine Line calculates these for you each gameweek. You get a ranked list of the best captain options and transfer targets, updated as lineups and injuries come in.

The FPL Transfer Planner

Blank gameweeks, doubles and fixture swings catch you out if you only look one week ahead. The planner loads your FPL team and lets you map out the next five gameweeks without a spreadsheet.

• Swap players in any week. Take a player out and pick a replacement from a list ranked by expected points, with price, ownership and the gain over the player you sell.
• Free transfers, bank and hits per week. Saved transfers roll over, up to five, and are kept through a Wildcard or Free Hit, as in FPL. Selling prices and transfers you have already made this week are counted.
• Chips and odd gameweeks. Wildcard, Free Hit, Bench Boost and Triple Captain follow the official rules. The planner shows which clubs double or blank each week.
• Suggested transfers. Choose how many gameweeks to plan for and how many transfers to allow. Fine Line finds the moves that add most to your best XI, counts any points hits, and tells you when saving the transfer is better.
• Saved plans. Keep a plan, rename it, and share the overview with your mini-league.

Probabilities and Differentials

Fine Line shows clean sheet probabilities, goalscorer probabilities, and card probabilities alongside expected points. Captain choice swings mini-leagues. xPts for your whole team lets you compare your squad against the best options. There's also a focus on differentials, low-ownership players whose numbers look strong. Handy when you need to make up ground.

The data updates throughout the week. Check again after the Friday pressers if you want the latest before the deadline.
